WHAT IS WET CLEANING?

A “greener” alternative to dry cleaning, wet cleaning is better for the environment and your health! Wet cleaning does not require any hazardous chemicals and is instead a solvent-free method to care for garments and fabrics. We use specialized equipment to clean those garments with a temperature-controlled, water-based and nontoxic method paired with biodegradable detergent to wash clothes very gently. For the drying process, the machine sets a specific humidity level and we use specialized pressing and tensioning equipment to prevent shrinkage and maintain garment shape. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) claims that wet cleaning avoids ecological harm to the air, water, and soil and is not an imperative concern to wastewater treatment officials.

What can be wet cleaned?

There are hardly limitations when it comes to materials that can be wet cleaned. Linens, cottons, wools, suede’s, silks, and leathers can all be wet cleaned. Wet Cleaning is also available for more delicate garments such as: suits, sequined or beaded fabrics, and even wedding dresses!

Will I notice a difference?

Garments that are wet cleaned smell better and even have a softer feel than clothes that have been through the dry cleaning process. Once the wet cleaning has been complete, the drying process leaves them stunningly finished. Your whites will even be whiter! (thanks to eliminating the chemicals from the dry cleaning process)
